Located in Sarasota Florida, the Dr. George Day Residence was commissioned by John Ringling for his private doctor. Sol Design Studio (Sol) is working with the current residents to renovate the kitchen, and a rear carport and theater.
Working closely with the City of Sarasota’s Historic Board, Sol works to update and contemporize the kitchen and home theater spaces, while respecting and maintaining the historic character and nuances of this historic Florida gem..
The construction was completed by Southern Cross Contracting to a very high level of detail and craft. The entire project is an excellent example of how a good design and construction team can work with the City of Sarasota Historic Society to preserve and update beautiful historic architecture.
