Sol Design Studio (Sol) was selected by the Centro Asturiano and Sierra Construction to work on a county-funded renovation of the existing historic building. Planned for upgrade are new mechanical systems for the main theatrical space, as well as new sound control measures, and stage lighting.
Sol worked with the Centro Asturiano on the creation of a new History Center, to showcase the buildings’ long-standing place in Ybor City’s life.
Sol has also provided a schematic design for the basement floor that is currently used as a storage. Plans have been approved for a future conference center and meeting room for local crews and clubs.
