Hillsborough Regional Operation Center. The project started after Sol Design Studio (Sol) had completed the Brighthouse Tarpon Springs Customer Service Center with new brand design standards developed by Sol. The client wanted to create a new vision for their 330,000 square foot Faulkenburg road corporate offices and carry the visual branding started at the Customer Service Center to the Operation Center.
The complex already had two Operation Centers, but Brighthouse planned this project as their Marketing Showpiece. Sol worked closely with the Client to identify the Operation Center’s management goals and prioritize needs with a focus on technology to develop the programming for the new network operation center (NOC) and office space. The project is organized around the Main NOC with offices designed around the perimeter to support its function.
The office utilizes an open plan with an exposed ceiling in which only mechanical ductwork is seen. Electrical conduits are under the floor connecting localized task and up-lighting systems. The overall benefit of task ambient lighting is improved worker comfort, productivity, and energy conservation. The NOC is a state-of-the-art center from visual esthetic qualities with curved ceilings, oval shape of the conference room to work stations positioned towards the eighty sq. ft. wall monitor system. The Brighthouse Brand fully integrated into the project.
